Beth Richey, MMS, PA-C is an Assistant Professor in the School of Physician Assistant Medicine. A proud alumna of Michigan State University, she earned her Bachelor of Science in Physiology with a specialization in Bioethics, Humanities, and Society. She went on to receive her Master of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Midwestern University in Downers Grove, Illinois, where she developed a strong passion for improving access to healthcare for vulnerable populations.
Beth brings over a decade of clinical experience in Emergency Medicine, having practiced in a wide range of settings including a Level I Trauma Center, as well as community, rural, and pediatric emergency departments. She has also worked in both inpatient and outpatient pediatrics, and began her PA career as an Internal Medicine and Pediatric Hospitalist in Princeton, Minnesota. Prior to becoming a PA, Beth worked as an Orthopedic Technician in Lansing, Michigan and Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Outside of her professional role, Beth enjoys baking, spending time outdoors, and cheering on the Michigan State Spartans with her husband and three daughters.
