Krisinda Palazzolo, MS, PA-C

Krisinda Palazzolo Headshot.pngKrisinda Palazzolo, MS, PA-C is the current Vice President, Advanced Practice Providers of the Henry Ford Medical Group and Chair of the Advisory Board for the Michigan State University, Physician Assistant Program. In her role with Henry Ford Health, Krisinda is accountable for all Advanced Practice Provider initiatives, with key areas of focus that include streamlined credentialing and privileging, APP orientation, onboarding, competencies, professional advancement, and operational strategy, spanning recruitment to retention. Krisinda’ s area of passion is APP inclusion and well-being and enhancement of the overarching culture of academic medicine. Krisinda graduated from Wayne State University in 2000 with her master’s degree in physician assistant studies and continues to practice clinically in Radiation Oncology. She offers a high level of both practical and personal knowledge of the importance of APPs and the value they can deliver as intrinsic members of the care team. In addition to her most recent role as HFMG VP of APPs, she has a long tenure as an APP leader and a ten-year history in Human Resources as a Director of Strategic Initiatives. Krisinda has a deep understanding of the uniqueness of the APP professions through her leadership work and her own experiences as a Physician Assistant. APPs are an integral part of our healthcare team and will play an even larger role in the months and years ahead. Physician Assistants are uniquely prepared to care for and meet the needs of our communities. She is grateful to be a part of the MSU Team!

Timothy Gawronski, PA-C, SFHM

After graduating as a PA from Grand Valley State University in 2003, I have served within Trinity Health since 2004. Currently working clinically as a Pulmonary/Critical Care PA with Trinity Health Medical Group-Muskegon Pulmonary, I have also served as Regional APP Director for Trinity Health Medical Group West Michigan since 2021. I am the current Board Chair for Trinity Health Medical Group West Michigan and have had an active role in patient experience, quality and provider relations. Additionally, I have the honor of serving as a Physician Assistant for the United States Department of Health and Human Services NDMS OH-1 Disaster Medical Assistance Team providing medical care for our nation at the direction of our federal government. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family and enjoy watching my daughter play lacrosse. It is an honor to serve with Michigan State University training our next generation of Physician Assistants.


Michelle Gormas, PA-C

Michelle Gormas PA-C has been centered in healthcare for 20 years with almost 15 years of experience as a Physician Assistant. She has extensive training in cvts surgery, advanced procedures, critical care medicine, cardiology, BioTE, urgent care, and family medicine/primary care. Avenue Health was opened due to her dedication to a quality-centered patient model where each person is treated individually with a focus on teaching as well as optimizing health and wellness. Her goal is to give each individual the tools needed to live a happier, healthier, more energetic life. In her free time she enjoys reading medical journals, spending quality time with her family, hiking, camping, skiing, surfing, running, and boating.


Lisa Hanna, PA-C, CAQ-Psych

Lisa Hanna practices outpatient psychiatry at Pine Rest Christian Mental Health. Along with her outpatient practice, Lisa serves as the clinical coordinator of the Advanced Practice Practitioner Psychiatric Training Program at Pine Rest and spends time working with new graduate PAs and NPs to develop their psychiatry skills. Lisa received her undergraduate degree from Michigan State University in nutritional science and her Masters in Physician Assistant Sciences from Des Moines University.


Danielle Richards, DMS, MPAS, PA-C

Dr. Danielle Richards, DMS, MPAS, PA-C is a family medicine Physician Assistant at University of Michigan Health Sparrow. She also has experience in hospital medicine and urgent care. Dr. Richards completed her undergraduate studies at Michigan State University and attended PA school at Grand Valley State University, graduating in 2008. She received her doctoral degree from Butler University. She is the Lead Advanced Practice Provider at University of Michigan Health Sparrow and sits on multiple committees for both the hospital and medical group. She also serves as a member of the Michigan Task Force on Physician Assistants. Dr. Richards lives in Lansing, MI with her husband and family.


Sarah Warren, MPAS, PA-C

Sarah Warren, MPAS, PA-C is the Lead APP and Clinical Project Specialist at Lansing Urgent Care, a Senior Medical Editor at Hippo Education and the curricular lead of Urgent Care Review and Perspectives podcast. She earned her master’s degree in physician assistant studies from The University of Iowa in 2013. She has extensive experience in urgent care medicine and has a passion for provider education, training, and health care systems.
