The MSU PA Medicine Department recently hosted their third annual Job Fair at the University Club of MSU in early March. Organized by Dr. Ashley Malliett, DMSc, MPAS, PA-C and Clinical Coordinator of the PA Medicine Department, the event brought together fourteen various recruiters from local and statewide healthcare systems and the clinical year students from the Class of 2026, and the didactic year students from the Class of 2027. Clinical students had the opportunity to connect with recruiters and learn about career prospects and work on building professional relationships with the Michigan healthcare community, while the didactic students had the chance to engage with the systems, gaining valuable insight in preparation for their clinical training. The event was a huge success, with Dr. Malliett commenting, “We are grateful to have such strong partnerships with healthcare systems across Michigan. Today was a great example of what can happen when those relationships come together to support the next generation of PAs.” The MSU PA Medicine Department looks forward to continuing this collaborative tradition and reinforcing the commitment to supporting Michigan PA’s as they enter the workforce.
