Samantha Danek, MHSA, M.S., PA-C, currently serves as an Assistant Professor in the Michigan State University PA Program. A proud graduate of the Wayne State University PA program in 2009, Samantha brings a rich clinical background in Surgery and Public Health to her teaching role.

Her professional dedication extends beyond the university, as evidenced by her participation in numerous local and state committees. In 2019, Governor Whitmer honored her commitment to the field by appointing her to the Michigan Board of Osteopathic Medicine. Furthermore, she currently holds the position of Legislative Chair at the Michigan Academy of PAs, demonstrating her leadership within the PA community.

Throughout her career, Samantha has consistently championed mental health access and parity with involvement in various legislative initiatives aimed at promoting these crucial issues.

In her pursuit of ongoing professional development and a broader understanding of public health and policy, Samantha successfully completed an Executive Masters program at the University of Michigan School of Public Health. Specializing in Healthcare Management and Policy, this advanced study complements her practical experience, enabling her to effectively contribute to the advancement of healthcare policy in her state and beyond.
